This quarry high on the slopes of Yr Eifl is on the north coast of the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales. The quarry opened in 1850 and a pier to export the stone was added in 1870. The main quarry closed in the 1970's and only part of the crushing plant and railway incline remains. There is still a small granite cutting operation at the quarry and one of the products are curling stones.
